Slicer - Pivot Refresh - Grey Cells

Hello,

I have deleted few records in the source data and refreshed the pivot table and slicers. But I still see the "deleted values" in Grey in Slicers. Although there is no harm, I wanted to know how we can remove these grey cells for which there is no data in the slicers. Is it someway I have to refresh the pivot cache?

Well this is a year old but I thought I would at least put an answer for someone else that could be looking.
  1. Right click the slicer
  2. Select Slicer Settings
  3. Finally uncheck the Show items deleted from data source box (lower right hand corner).
  4. Click OK
