Hi

I have a relatively large project with Work Breakdown Project & looking extract some data from it in several different ways

First way is through its various Project IDs

Second way & more complex because there's so many (little) variations plus various spacing or indentations, makes it a bit more difficult simply search, find, look up criteria

Table attached with overview seeking

Thank you

Hi

What's a cross-post?

More importantly, what's the solution?

For example -To find Project ID 1229 & variations of "ECR"?

Thanks

@MyCon

More importantly, what's the solution?...it may be important to you but not to the members who give their time for free and will offer help, if they can and when they have the time.

In stead of demanding a solution you should read the forum rules where you would come across this snippet:-

  • Abusive language will not be tolerated.
  • Never title your posts as "Urgent", "Priority" "Immediate". It may be Important to you, but not for rest of the members here. These words will be moderated out.
  • Cross-Posting. Generally, it is considered poor practice to cross post. That is to post the same question on several forums in the hope of getting a response quicker.
  • If you do cross-post, please put that in your post.
  • Also if you have cross-posted and get an answer elsewhere, have the courtesy of posting the answer here so other readers can learn from the answer also, as well as stopping people wasting their time on your answered question.
  • Please don't attach or post links to copyright material including Books, Videos etc. Your post will be deleted
You will find the helpful rules here,
They are easy to find as they are posted at the top of the forum section, but if you are struggling the link will help.

I would not of thought the term 'cross posting' needed an explanation but the forum does give reasons as to not do this.

The members of this site are most helpful and friendly and will, if they can, offer help and more besides, you will find this out if you do not use them as a doormat to wipe your feet.
