Rank &/or Sort Bill Rates / Costs

Hi,

I created a table with a handful of Engineering Services & their prospective teams, along with each positions bill rate or costs.

I'm now looking to extract the bill rates & rank &/or sort from low to high (Table 1) in my example

In my Table 2 - I want to set up some scenarios & select 1 to 6 Engineering Services, then have them ranked or sorted from lowest to highest costs.

Is this doable?

It is not clear as to what you want done.

1. You have rates for various categories of professionals ( Program Manager , Project Manager ,... ) from several companies.

2. There are various companies which have submitted rates for varying numbers of these professionals ; thus company BBB has a team of 11 professionals , while company JJJ has a team of 32 professionals. Company KKK is the only company to have rates for QA /QS professionals.

What are we to make of all this ?

a. Is the same job going to be undertaken by 11 professionals from company BBB , while it will need 32 professionals if it is undertaken by company JJJ ?

b. If company KKK is the only one to have offered the services of QA / QS professionals , what comparison can be made for this category of professionals ?

c. What is the purpose of seeing which company is cheapest for each category of professionals ?

Can you take a Program Manager from one company and a Project Manager from another company ?

I think if you can give a more detailed explanation of your requirement rather than your workbook , that will help.

The table is show how many team members & along with its positions bill rates for each Engineering Company.

I'm trying to extract the positions bill rates per position & rank them from low to high either vertically (Table 1) & horizontally (Table 2).


In Table 2, there's an option to select desired number of Engineering Services to use - 1 to 6


The intent here is based on desired Engineering Service to use, it would rank accordingly

For Example,

If I select 6, then Table 2 would rank 6 Engineering Services
If I select 4, then Table 2 would rank 4 Engineering Services

How is ranking doable within these 2 tables?

Based on bill rates Low to High Costs, also specify which Engineering Service it's from.
