Percentage wise priority in pivot / dash board

Dear All,

Need your expertise, find attached quotation pipeline activity report for three branches from KSA in this file we have 7000 quotations. I would like to develop this file with priorty percentage. required sample format is also attached. please advise either i have to use Pivot / dashboard. if pivot table then percentage priority wise is not showing as same.

Hi Jams,

If you have done some work in pivot, can you post it (with dummy data). Because for pivot table solution the fields are not clear. For example in your require format you have mentioned CONTRACT, REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, REFURB. Is this all fields are from field "Category"....if dates are from field "Quote issued date" or "Update Date" and figures are from "Value in LC"?
 
sorry to say that i have not tried very much in pivot, Value in LC in quotation value very important column.

1. values in required format is from which column?
2. Percentage of what is shown in required format?

As to your query you do not explain very well what you want, have a look at the pivot in the attachment upload and play around with the fields to see if you can get what you want.

My request does n't mean to response every one, those who are intrested to help I will be gald to them. by the way you can go through my entire writeup i never mentioned urgent any where except please and help.

still I appologies deeply if my thread made any inconvinence in this regards.

reference to the file uploaded my requirement is job by branch wise required with priorites just say example.

Riyadh job values March 100% , 70%, 50% and 30% same for the next month June, July and so on.

Hi,

You above example is not still clear. You have dates in column F, O, P & R. When you say Mar, which column are you reffering and 100% of what? What are the values in your required format files?

Thank you so much for continous track, let me explain to you, you will find categories in coloumn "H" i need this categories values month wise in priority percentage that is coloumn "N" 100,% 80%, 70% and more.

this information is required for my manager to keep track forecasting jobs monthly wise.

coloumn "O" is booking months and "P" Sales months and i need both coloumns for 2014 only.
Coloumn "N" is probility in %, so i need these % against each month.

lets say march 2014 shows 10 jobs in booking at coloumn "O" then which jobs are falling at what probility % according to Coloumn "N". how many jobs at 90% and how many at 70% then 50% and 30%.

find attached format i developed to plot the data manually, but its time sucking job. i dont want this to be update on weekly bases. please advise some short cut and time saving tricks to update this.

Dear balli,

Thany u so much for ur response, the way u did is almost to the point. Just couple of things to be added. Categories should be come up with three branvhes ruh, jed & dmm. Last thing i dont want the data for the previous years just need for 2014. Please tell me how to show only 2014.

Dear Jams,
I have added branches category as required but in your sample data only "Dammam" is mentioned so you can see only this. In your sample data I did not find any date related to 2014. You can select the date range by filter ("B3").
Please change the source data and check if format is correct as per your requirement.
