Merge multiple Workbooks without using VBA?

I have multiple Workbooks with similar file names, identical column headings and identical number of rows.

The only other variable (other than file names) is the data in each cell.

Each file is named e.g. ba1, ba2, ba3 .... to ba35.

Is there any way to combine all of these books into one (1) xls file using a formula without using VBA?

Nope, not w/o using some bit of VBA (or some other programming language).
