Dear Sir/Mam,

I believe i am in the right place where i can get my excel issues besides i shall be highly grateful if yourself can show me how to do it...

Hi ,

Which version of Excel are you using ?

When I try to open this file in Excel 2010 , a message is displayed which says that the file is corrupt and cannot be opened.

Hi ,

Sorry , but the problem remains.

Anyway , you can try the following :

1. Lock the entire worksheet. Select all the worksheet cells and check the checkbox labelled Locked.

2. Select the data entry cells / ranges , and uncheck the checkbox labelled Locked.

3. Protect the worksheet , after ensuring that locked cells cannot be selected.

Hi ,

The option buttons have their linked cells protected. You will have to unlock these cells before you protect the worksheet.

Hi ,

I am not clear on your question ; can you explain what is meant by check list ?

Narayan

Sorry Sir, I forgot to elaborate...the attachment lady has forwarded i want to learn how she made it....it was very well formulated...it's an evaluation form....means the data in that sheet is supposed to be calculated. Other than this the CHECKBOX she has used is connected to the calculations of points, percentage....such is what i want to learn.
