Interactive XL Spreadsheet functionality in SAP

Hi,


I have a requirement in SAP to post Finance Documents into SAP using XL spread sheet. The requirement is user will create an xl spread sheet with agreed file format but he/she will not save the file in the PC. Once file will be ready there should be some buttons in the spread sheet itself ( say Push Button) which will allow SAP server reading the file from the user screens of XL sheet and corresponding SAP program will action to post the file into SAP. I have hard this kind of functionality exist in People Soft but I am not sure about SAP.

Hi Dan,


Many thanks for your reply. I think RFC will require. Meanwhile I have searched in SAP help and found little hints like

1) SAP will provide CD for Interactive Excel in a template

2) To import data into Interactive Excel must have access to an R/3 System and PC

data entry program require creating to import and posting into SAP.


I have not done this kind of request before . Looking forward to hearing from you guys.
