Formula for pulling percentage of units sold?

Hello Chandoo-ers!

I have a seemingly simple excel question. In the attached, I have units of SKUS sold each period.


I need an analysis of : Are there tiers of unit buckets per sku?

i.e.20% of skus shipped at depths of 59 units for period 201404
30% is at 80 units and so forth for the rest of the period?
Then the same for all 12 periods.

How would you suggest I pull this? Just needing a simple chart, which I included an example below and in the attachment.

Period % Skus Shipped @
201404 20% 59
30% 80

Thanks for the response. Perhaps I'm over complicating in my description.

I basically need to run an analysis of the percentage of the amounts we shipped a sku

For example, if we shipped 59 units of a sku 5 times in one period, I need to quantify this. And for every amount in each period.

Example:
15% a sku shipped 59 units in 201404
8% a sku shipped 80 units 201404
45%... A sku shipped x units in 201404
15%... A sku shipped x units in 201404
15% a sku shipped x units in201404
2% ... A sku shipped x units in 201404

I am sorry but it does not.

You have uploaded a file ; can you not work out an example with the data that is present in your file , so that it becomes easier to relate the example to the data.

From what example you have given I am not able to figure out what is to be done with the data in your file.

In 201404 , you have shipped out 69 SKUs in a total of 5574 units ; what is to be done with these figures ? Can you explain ?

Of those 69 skus, what percentage did we invoice 59 units. What percentage did we invoice 80 units. Etc.

Hi Michael ,

See if this helps ; I have not calculated the percentages , but that should be a simple extension of the SUMIFS formula. I have done it only for one month.
