Excel Confusion

I am preparing a report with numbering in MS Excel 2010. URGENT

In cell A1 the value is 1.1 and in A2 value is 1.2.


Now from A4 I am describing the details thus, needs formula which automatically numbers it to 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3 and so on.

Excel Confusion..Does not say anything about your problem, most who post have some confusion that's why they are here for help...but a more descriptive title would attract more interest.
