Compress Workbook

After spending weeks developing a new excel tool for a client, I am ready to roll it out, however...I notice that the file is 16mb. In reality it really isn't that big. I am assuming a lot of it has to do with the "trial and error" of all the design work that was going on. It is as clean as it can be (no surplus macros and such from testing). Now, it is just a workbook with a less than a dozen sheet tabs for data collection. Nothing fancy is really going on here.

How can I reduce the file size?

You can save it as an Excel Binary (*.xlsb) file type

I read about saving it as a .xlsb file, but was worried about losing info.
