ALT+S+V and the New Windows 8 Start Menu

Hi,

I have just allowed Windows 8 to upgrade to the new start menu and all of a sudden it is taking over my keyboard shortcuts. I used ALT+E+S (special paste) all the time in Excel and now Windows in its wisdom has decided to override this shortcut and has instead attached it to Screen Shot. Does anyone know how to turn this off? I would really appreciate any advice.

Thanks,
Linda

Hi Linda,
Not sure about turning off above short key in windows 8.

for an alternate, you can use combination of Ctrl+Alt+V which will bring the same paste special dialogue box.

Regards,

Khalid,
Well that's a pity, but thank you for the work around. I will certainly use it for the meantime. If I find out how to do it, I'll post.

Thanks for your help.
Linda
