Ageing Analysis

The detail requirement is mentioned in the uploaded file.

In gist, in a range of ageing columns of a vendor, any positive figure shall be adjusted with the negative figures depending on criteria.

Output is required in another sheet in same format as in source data.

At present I have been doing it manually every quarter which takes almost 3 working days or 24 hours to get the desired output.

A solution either by macro (an add-in is highly appreciable) or by formulas will be very grateful.

Hi Surya ,

I am sure that what you have uploaded is just a sample file ; can you upload a file with much more data , so that testing is done thoroughly ?

1. I assume that even if there are multiple entries against a vendor , each row is treated on its own , as an independent entry ; is this correct ?

2. What should happen if there are multiple positive payments in one row of data ?

3. What should happen if the positive payments are two or more ?

Any other clarifications for situations not covered so far ?

One point is still not understood.

I have added 3 rows of data , both in the input range and in the output range ; based on the data in the input range , can you manually fill up the output range cells for these 3 additional rows ?

Back from Pongal holidays... but disappointed to see my problem was not yet solved. Please look into this and help...
