I think this is a continuation of your previous question.
Normally , it is easier for others to understand your problem , and possibly offer solutions , if you make a comprehensive and well-understood post ; the problem with this is that you have to invest some time and effort in coming up with a thorough description of your problem.
If you don't do this , either no one will be interested to probe further , or a lot of time , days or even weeks , can be spent in asking for and getting clarifications.
Going by the one-line statement of your problem , my two-word answer would be "It depends".
Going beyond these two words , I can say that you can use several IF and VLOOKUP functions to ensure that if a match is not found in one worksheet , the second , third , fourth ,... worksheets can be searched for a match.
