Vlookup second match drama

Hi Gurus

First of all I hope no one arcs up about checking the forums for this drama, and yes, I have, but nothing matched for what I need (the Q's are a bit vague) and you can't narrow it down. :DD

How can I get the second match to the same date/time.o_O

Thanks in advance. :)

Thanks Deepak
I haved checked all of those examples to no avail, concatenating dates with a number will not show up as a date, I wish for a quick fix but with no helper columns. :(

I hope someone can come up with a better way.

Hi ,

First , your formula in column C is wrong , since the first row of the worksheet has neither data nor formula , which means the following formula in the second cell :

=IFERROR(SMALL($A$1:$A$50,ROW()),"")

will be using 2 for the current row number.

It is not advised to use ROW() without any reference , especially when you are using it with SMALL or LARGE ; always use ROW(A1) for the first instance of the formula.

If you see , the first date which is 10-03-2015 22:00:00 is missing from column C ; you should first rectify this problem.

If there are only two instances then this would work.

=LOOKUP(2,1/($A$2:$A$50=C2),$B$2:$B$50)
Thank you Deepak
Sorry for late reply, I had to go to work.
I will keep this one for future reference.:awesome:
Thank you for your time, have a great day.:DD
