To print string in cells that contain formulas

Hi Chandoo,

I have a query regarding the following:

How to print a particular string for example "Ashok" in shaded cells columns "A1 TO A10", which contains a formulae in the columns "A1 TO A10" . Formulas should not be disturbed. But I need the string "Ashok" to be written between the cells A1 to A10.The cells A1 TO A10 are shaded in any colour.

If A1 to A10 contains formulas and you want string in them then it is must that they will be disturbed?? Plz Explain
 
I took you literally and see the following is the solution:

I added Textboxes between each cell
The Textboxes contain a Formula =$C$1
which places Ashok in the text boxes

You can obviously remove the Textbox border color so you can't see the borders
