I have timesheet to calculate the total working hours every day and calculate if the employee worked more or less and the cumulative total, but if the balance is minus the result would be like this ######
Anybody can help please.

Normally there are not negative times.
Here one sample, how to do this... if You would like to show 'minus times'.

Another automatic option

In Excel's advanced option check the box in - use 1904 date system

No need to change the original formula

BTW , avoid using merged cells, they are nothing but trouble.
You can use "center across selection" alignment if needed
