sumproduct alternative

so on my workbook, there currently is a sumproduct column that takes 2 columns to check if they are unique or not. basically the 1st iteration of a specific combination of values will result to 1 and if there is a copy of that combination it will show 0. I usually process 200k+ rows on this workbook and is 28 columns wide. So the calculation to check the whole workbook takes an hour to complete. Could there be an alternative to this?

Hi,

Try to use" Power Query" or "Get & Transform Data" in new Excel version for large data calculation.

I am actually leaning this direction, but is still looking for alternatives that won't rely on PQ. Without PQ, how would you handle this?

Or it would be better to use a database program, like Microsoft Access, SQL, Oracle, or MySQL instead of Excel
