Sum data with multiple criteria

Hi,

I have a large set of data arranged by date in the columns and coded with different categories (row). In the summary tab, I would like to sum numbers to different categories to the specific date, which is variable, i.e. today. So that I can compare the latest data with previous month end.

Hi, and welcome to the forum!

On your summary sheet, cell B4, put this formula:
=SUMIF('2014'!$A$4:$A$135,$A4,INDEX('2014'!$C$4:$KA$135,,MATCH(B$2,'2014'!$C$2:$KA$2,1)))

copy to range B4:D8.
