Luke M Excel Ninja Staff member Jun 25, 2014 #2 I'm 99.9% certain this can't be done with a formula. The strikethrough formatting could be applied via a CF to the entire cell's contents. There's no function that let's us concatenate one type of formatted text w/ another.

Hui Excel Ninja Staff member Jun 26, 2014 #3 I agree with Luke that this can't be done with Formulas without VBA I'd suggest using Conditional Formatting Select C4:C20 or whatever range it is Goto Conditional Formatting New Rule Use a Formula =AND(A5=A4,B5=B4+1) apply a Strike Through format Apply
