Sorting Slicer items by value --- is it possible?

I made Group like this in my pivot table.

Is it possible to sort Slicer items by value?

it should read:

0-499
500-999
1500-1999
2500-3000

*Currently and by default it is sorted by 0 to 9....
500-999 is the last item, whereas it should come 2nd...

Since 500-999 etc are not values (i.e. numeric), but treated s text string, best way to do this is through Custom Lists.

Follow direction given in the link. There are some downside to Custom sorting though, as detailed in the link.

Another approach is to add prefix (00-, 01-, 02-...) to use as sorting index.
