Hi,

In the Sort dialogue box there is option button in which you can sort left to right instead of top to bottom

As you are horizontally sorting than you may also opt for above as mention by @Sathish KV
or may use below function

=SMALL($C$7:$G$7,COLUMN(INDIRECT("1:"&COUNTA($C$7:$G$7)))) with
CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER

Please find attached workbook you posted for columns.

Hi,

You could select all the rows once and sort horizontally

How do I select 2000 rows all at once?
What I do is select all the rows I need then I have to add each row in order to sort them are you saying I can do them all at one time without adding each row? If so, how?

No, that option don't work that way

It's better to use the formual

or you could use a Loop method to achieve the same

I'm sorry where is a duplicate number? I don't see one in the spreadsheet. I'm trying to put the 6 columns of numbers in order from low to high

I've just noticed there are only 5 numbers sorted IJKLM. It needs to be 6 When I try to adjust it a message says I can't change an array? How do I fix it?

Thanks

Hi Larry ,

Sorry , my mistake.

Just do the following :

1. Select the range I3:N3 ( including a blank cell ).

2. Press F2.

3. Press CTRL SHIFT ENTER ; the sixth number will get entered in N3.

4. With this range still selected , press CTRL C to copy.

5. Select the range I4:I897 ( your entire range of data / formulae ) , and press ENTER to paste.

Narayan
