So Many similar functions to round numbers up or down

I have always wondered why Excel has so many functions to round the numbers up and down. I had tried using all of them to see if there is much difference, but they all seem to be the same. I agree some functions have more parameters than others and provide additional features.
Are there any which are preferred over others due to performance or any other reasons?
CEILING.MATH, ROUNDUP
FLOOR.MATH, INT, ROUNDDOWN, TRUNC

Good day@NARAYANK991, hope life is treating you good,

After looking at tip number 18.1 I can only assume Chandoo has been in the catering business or he is familiar with running an extortion racket, the percentage tip of his round is astronomical........:DD

Hi Bob ,

Good day to you too , though by now , it must be evening in England.

Chandoo has been in business long enough , though not in the catering business. However , 15% is not astronomical , at least to a waiter.

As for extortion , Chandoo is more into Excel torsion , twisting Excel to do what he wants. More power to him.

Good morning Narayan

Its not so much the 15%, with Chandoo's rounding up your final bill with the extra service charge would leave you wishing you had stayed at home.
