Slicer and Data Validation

Hi, I am creating a job leveling matrix and my dashboard is filtered using a slicer. I had to add in 4 data validation list in the dashboard that are associated with the job codes that are filtered in the dashboard. How can I make selections from my drop down list and not lose the values when filter the data? I want the data selected from the drop downs to keep its values and filter with the data from the slicer.
