Hello,

does anyone know, how to add the second indicator into my score meter? want to present monthly and ytd results on the same score meter. I worked from this tutorial to create the first indicator: http://alesandrab.wordpress.com/2013/11/25/creating-a-score-meter-in-excel/, but does anyone know how to add the second?

Hi blazy,

See attached for how I would do it. To make sure that each point stays pointing to correct year/month, had to do some formula magic, but it works pretty nicely, IMO.

I found this example to be very helpful and now need to add a third pointer as a benchmark comparison value. This would be used to show progress toward a defined benchmark so current progress could be below or exceed the benchmark. How would the formulas need to change to show this third pointer?

I realized I did not upload the excel file as an example. This is the file I started to play around with to add the 3rd pointer. Can someone help?

How's this chart? If we don't have to go horizontal, we have much more flexibility.

First block of inputs controls the background colors. Pointers say where each pointer should go. You can change the labels as desired.
