Relationship between TABLES (NOT Pivot) in Excel 2007

Please let me know how to create Relationship between TABLES (NOT Pivot) in Excel. (problem in Pivot tables is, it does not show text in value fields)
(1) I need to establish link between two tables, by which only required columns from Table1must reflect in Table2.
(2) As data in Table1 is modified, Table2 data must reflect the same.

Hi Muralidhar,

If you are on Excel 2010+ you can install Power Pivot where in you can create relationship between tables.

Or else use VLOOKUP to pull values from Table 1 to Table 2.

Hi Somendra,
Thank you for reply.
The actual scenario is
Table2 is a linked copy of Table1
Table2 has only selected columns from table1 (Just repeated column data)
Table2 Columns gets modified as and when Table1 is modified.

Please advise me

How large is you data?

Regards,

The data is a weekly report and needs to be arranged in two different formats.
The raw data is in a separate sheet, from which the required columns data need to be copy-linked to a column in a different sheet.
The raw data is dynamic,, and the changes should also be reflected in corresponding columns of another sheet. This is a huge data from Jan o Dec every year.
