Pivot tables created using PowerPivot throw this error message when one attempts to drill-through with multiple items selected ~ "Show Details cannot be executed when multiple items are selected in a report filter field or in a slicer. Select a single item for each field in the report filter area and for each slicer connected to this PivotTable before performing a drill through." I realize that I can create workarounds in the PowerPivot window by creating a calculated field, however, our source data has so many columns that one cannot possibly create a workaround for every selection made by our user group. Our user group is pivot table savvy as they have been using our report products with pivot tables for over a decade. We are currently using Excel 2010 with the PowerPivot add-in version 11.1.3129.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2012 SP1. We tried upgrading to SP2 to no avail. Has anyone else run into this issue and found a solution?
