I HAVE A TWO ISSUES IN THIS WORKSHEET CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME TO COMPLETE THIS WORKBOOK.


THIS WORKBOOK IS ACTUALLY OUR TIMESHEET

1) I HAVE A DROP DOWN LIST CONTAIN MONTH AND GROUP FOR EACH MONTH I PUT INPUT'S FOR EACH EMPLOYEE i.e 3 ,3,3,3 EP, LP...etc BUT WHEN I CHANGE TO NEXT MONTH OR OTHER GROUP THE INPUTS CELL DOES'NT CHANGE I WANT THIS ALSO TO BE CHANGE ALONG WITH MONTH AND GROUP'S

2) I WANT TO HIGHLIGHT EACH SNR. ENGR. IN MY DROP LIST

PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS QUERY

You will not be able to achieve the desired results in this fashion. You are going to need a User Form to store the the Inputs. Attached below is a link that might provide some ideas. I would build a simple table that you insert your Input data into then summarize it with a Pivot Table.

and I left Your sheets there too.

but what did You mean with
'I WANT TO HIGHLIGHT EACH SNR. ENGR. IN MY DROP LIST' ?
... do You want to highlight those Names on Sheet?

In the group drop down list it has
Snr. Process Engr. Group I in this group I it has several name's so one of the name (i.e Talal Al-Eidan) i want to Highlight and this apply for all group's II, III and so on

Some terms no match!

Group: Snr. Engr. Process Team I
Name: Talal A/Mohsen Al-Eidan

You want only that name to see also with groups:
Snr. Engr. Process Team II
Snr. Engr. Process Team III
or all that groups names?

Highlight:
How do You want that highlight?
Some specific font color?
Some specific backgroung color? or both?
... all columns or just NAME-column?

Mr. Letm have you tried the first problem display the data range by selecting drop down item,

Oh, You didn't test my file?
What was problem?

It needs to save those inputs somewhere.
If You check file,
You could see some values 2010 Jan and 'somewhere' later.

Mr. Vletm,
Actually that is a formula based file in the same drop down list i want that data has to change and secondly i want the drop members staffs to be highlighted so as you drop down the list it will be highlighted

Okay, You didn't my test file.
1) If would be a little challenge to save input with 'formulas'...
and that file has formulas too.
2) 'Highlighting', You wanted only one name to highlight.
If all 'something' would be highlighted then that 'one name' would be one of those. I cannot get Your new vision of this 'highlighting'.
3) One sentence per line or use "." between sentences, please.
