Hello Expert,

While working on 15 days payroll,I have successfully calculate 15 days amount which I need to pay. However We have need to include one more parameter of salary revision in Column (E and F). Can someone please help me to simplify this formula, as I am expecting more revisions.

Process :

Salary mentioned in Cell C6(85000) Effective from 31st may 2016(cell P4).
Joining Date: Cell M6
End Date : Cell N6

If you will put end date, value after End date will removed.

Request if you can help me to simplify my formula to include both effective dates. It will be a big help.

Thank you so much in Advance.

Hi!

If you first define the rules and then design the formula, it will be simple.

Your formula seems to have inherent weakness. If a person's start date is after 01/09/2016 and end date before 15/09/2016, the formula does not work.

Enclosed the file with example, including implementation of New Salary from Effective Date.

with best regards,

Arun N
