hello experts,

hope u all are well.
actually i am facing a problem regarding hyperlink.
i have a sheet and i have put some hyperlinks there.
first day it works well but after 2 or 3 days it shows error message and says the address is not valid;address is in another folder in the same drive.

how to figure it???

The error message is saying some folder has been moved and it cannot find the link address, have you moved/deleted some folders/workbooks?

no, i have not changed anything...
but dnt know why this is happening again and again.
is it some sort of virus or there may be other reasons???

Check if absolute address is used in link or if relative reference to workbook saved folder is used. (Absolute will be like... C:\FolderName\FileName, Relative will show either ...\FolderName\FileName or just \FolderName\FileName.)

Latter can cause your workbook to lose reference to linked file/folder in certain circumstances.

Follow steps outlined in post below to force absolute reference in Hyperlinks.

in my hyperlink window address shows like this-"..\..\..\..\..\..\..\..\..\..\..\..\..\..\..\..\Desktop\GREY%20STATE\STANDARDIZATION%20%20TEST%20REPORT\NS%20334%20SJ%20165.pdf".it should be"desktop\grey state\standardization test report\ns 334 waffle slub..

btw i have applied your solution given in the link..lets see what happen.
