My formula needs some adjustment

Narayan helped me with the one I had with 4 rows and I am hoping he can look at this without much more explaining LOL

I am trying to count the cells with the numbers in them and place the total amount of cells (that have a specific number in them) in column B

This one can have odd numbers in it like 1 and 3. I want to count every cell with liked numbers

LOL, I know it does not Hui, I was tired last night and did not want to go into a lot of detail hoping Narayan would see this as he knows exactly what I am talking about

Okay, I am counting how many NUMBERS (123456789) are in each gray and yellow cell horizontally. In this example I have 2 "8"s inC4 and C5 so I would place a 2 in B4. I have 2 "5"s in D 5 and D6 so I would place a 2 in B5, There are 3 "6"s in C8 C9 C10 and I want a 3 in B8, 1 "3" in D9 so I would want a 1 in B9.


Does this make sense?
