Mapping/Charting Postal Codes

Hi,

I've to represent postal codes as map/chart, problem is that number of postal codes to be mapped are close to 17000. Bing map just allows 100 values to be mapped. Does anyone knows a work around for this?

With that many data points, I'm not sure what kind of resolution you would expect to see on your map. But a starting point might just be to use an already existing map of zip codes.

I have just found and downloaded MS Map point trial version. It's a great tool for mapping postal codes.

Hi Ranjana ,

Can you not map the top-level codes to the states , and the lower level codes to the individual state maps ?

If you can , break it down district and city-wise , if such maps are available.

No....I don't want to breakdown. ..These postal codes represent how wide spread our patients are and the density of patients. This needs to be represented as one single map....Anyways, I've completed the task using MS mappoint...It's very easy to use tool. I had my postal codes in excel column, imported it and mapped them on mappoint.
