Last Date of the Year

Dear Chandoo

Please assist me with the following request. I have uploaded a column of dates in A. I want to identify the last date of each year in Column B.

For example, in B15, I should get the date in A15 and in B33 I should get the date in A33. Other preceding cells should remain be blank.

I am looking for a solution other than "max" because "max" requires me to manually check the range for each year.
