In my excel (attached) 1st sheet is an index sheet where you can choose employee name from drop down/combo. In sheet 2 data for all employee training details, sheet 3 all employees performance details.

As I choose an employee from drop down of index sheet it will select and switch to sheet 2 with that choosen employee, if I again clink on a button of sheet 2 it will take me to sheet 3 with same employee.

please help urgently!!

thanks and regards,

Santosh (skg0009@rediffmail.com)

Hi Santosh,

Would suggest you to edit the subject line of your post.
"Hello .. Introduce yourself" is kind of misleading.

Could you please explain your problem in more detail.

The only code I could see in your file is in "This workbook".
Posting for other member's benefit.

Code:
Sub DropDown2_Change()
Sheet2.Activate
  Select Case DropDown2.Value
    Case "Professional Synopsis": Sheet2.Select
    Case "Knowledge Base": Sheet3.Select
    Case "Milestones": Sheet4.Select
  End Select
End Sub

Also, please avoid mentioning your email id in the post.
This will help you as well as others also, (accessing such links is not allowed in some firms).

Your post says nothing about your problem “Hello .. Introduce yourself” as a title gives know idea of your problem, If you give a descriptive tile then you stand more chance of getting the right help. Members have different skills in Excel and may only visit certain sections of the forum, titles that just say “Kindly help” may not attract the right help. You have at this time had 47 views and one reply. Members have busy lives to live, they have jobs to go to, families to take care of and a life outside of Chandoo world and do not spend all their time trawling through the posts.

If you take a moment to think of the problem your title would convey the help needed and the question you ask will contain more information for the members.

Hi, my friend!
Please don't blame OP, as a new user he just posted this comment under the Introduce Yourself thread, from where I split it to move under the Ask An Excel question forum, ... but I failed trying to edit the thread title, so it keeps the original one. Either I'm so dumb that I can't find the way to update the topic title or it's an administrator only feature.
Regards!

Good day my old friend I hope you have had a good holiday

I have issued a recall on blind pews black spot.

You are right though, in the old forum we had full edit powers but in the new forum these powers no longer work, "Trimmed Ninjas"

Hi, old dog!

Good afternoon, my friend.

Yes, I'm glad I had an excellent holiday, and I hope that you did it as well. Here, exception made of the heat that it's unbearable at BA since almost the beginning of the month (everyday temperatures over 35°C-37°C, thermal sensations up to 46°C). Problems with the electrical home supply in lots of neighborhoods here at the city and in the suburban areas too, a national problem. I only suffered the heat but I haven't had any interruptions of the supply, but there are lots of people who don't have energy since 3 days ago, others from a week ago, and others since many weeks.

So it seems to be that we have many of the features we used to have, but we're unable to find them. Hopefully Debraj(ex-Roy) is always watching our backs... I'm wondering why does he looks so down...

Regards!

Good day SirJB7

Here we have the other end of the weather, in the South West of the UK there has been a lot of flooding with high storm surges many homes flooded and power lost. The storm is now moving up the West Coast to the Western Ilses and the North West cost of the UK more storm surges and flooding on the way........Did some one say it is the season to be jolly !!!!!!:(......But pleased I do not live on the east coast of the USA they are in a worse situation reguarding snow.

@b(ut)ob(ut)hc
Hi!
I'm beginning to wonder if the weather is controlled by an Excel application, it's the only reasonable explanation... :P
Regards!
