how to search a table along a horizontal & vertical axis

Hi all,

I'm trying to get a result from a table using the horizontal and vertical axis on a table.

I've attached a quick sheet for an example.

The database (DB) shows a list of post codes and a quantity.

I'm just trying to search the post code axis then the quantity axis

Use the INDEX + MATCH combination.

I have used named ranges for convenience.

Thank you for that. How do you name the ranges for example: RowLabels and ColumnHeaders

I can see the data as a named range in the DB sheet, but I can't see how you've named the others.
