How to lock cells

Hi,

need help here,

i need to lock the cells with formulas based on the text that we enter in previous cell.

e.g. if the value is Closed in any of the cell, then further cells should be blocked.
if the value is other than Closed, then v can be able to edit the cell.

i have attached the file, and same has to be worked.

thanks for the reply.. but i want to know how did you give the conditions.

since there was other data which i need to edit those cells also got protected.

i have attached sheet, wherein i need this kind of conditions should be applied only from Column S onwards and till 100 rows as of now.

we will be updating/editing the data which will be filled from A to R columns
