How to avoid using array formulas within large file?

Hi all,

Attached is a file that uses array formulas and others which ultimately works. The issue I have is when I try to load in thousands of rows of data, it then crashes. Is there a work around to using array formulas such as pivot tables that would achieve the same results and help speed up the monthly refresh of this file?

The task is not simplistic (not for me anyway) so if you need any further background please let me know.
