I have a table in powerpivot with a large amount of columns, and a pivot table against it. I have deliberately hidden some of the columns using the option "hide from client tools", since users will tend to drill through on values in the pivot table visible to them, and I want to avoid them seeing all the unnecessary columns.
The hidden fields no longer show on the pivot field list (as expected), but they are still displayed when drilling through (ie when double clicking on the value to see the details). Why is this? is there any easy way to exclude them also from the drill through view?
