Hello! I found this forum ((http://forum.chandoo.org/threads/combo-box-with-linked-cell-automatic-update.17575/) and am trying to do the same thing but cannot figure out how this was done. If you click a cell in the workbook (the sample workbook from the old forumn which I have attached), say D6 then choose from the combo box dropdown the cell D6 changes to what you have chosen. This works with any cell. How can I do this (use a combo box) so that when I select a blank cell then select from a combo box list my blank cell changes to what I have selected? Hope this makes sense. Thank you.

My apologies I should have clarified. I am currently using data validation but with over 600 items in my data validation list I need it to be searchable. Therefore, I created a combobox. But is there a way to have one combo box for an entire worksheet? Otherwise I would have to create about 100 more combo boxes for any new entries and each time change the linked cell.
