Hello All

I've been following along with the podcasts and continue to strive to be AWESOME at Excel... I've come a LONG way :)

but today I hit an issue I've never seen before - and I'm sure someone may have a suggestion

I have a spread sheet I work from daily - and I compile the information from another website and then create my own -

normally the formating for the cells when I select wrap text make the entry look like this:

08/12/2014
11:59PM

However, for some reason the last few days it's come in like this:

08/29/2014 02:24 PM

even with it this way if I use "wrap text" it does not drop the date to the next line - upon review I see there now is a space between the 4 and the PM -

if I select each cell I can remove that space and then it wraps but this spreadsheet is huge and it will take me most of the morning to format it this way -

I'm not sure if there is a shortcut, key stroke, ,macro anything that would do it all at once without changing the information in the cells?

Thank you very much for all your assistance :)

You should try with increasing your column width.
and
also you can change formatting from custom format.
please have a look on image below
m/d/yyyy h:mmAM/PM

Thank you Bhawani - I have tried the trick with the width if it gets too small it just gives me ########### in the cell I will try the formating you suggested :)

Have a wonderful day

Hi,

The above data which you were getting earlier was not a proper date in excel and hence wrap text worked considering it to be a text

But current download gives you a proper date format and hence wrap text will not work
