Goal Seek Not Working

Im trying to use goal seek, but its not working in my version of excel 2007. Ive had someone else open the same file in excel 2007 and there goal seek works correctly. I get no error message, it just doesn't adjust the value and says it found the target value. Is there an add in or some option that must be used that i may have changed?

Hi James,

There is a small bolt in the Goal Seek tool, which may be not tighten well.. try to adjust it..

just kidding, ..

check you Iteration setting..
Office Icon > Option > Formulas > uncheck Enable Iterative Calculation.

Thanks Deb, that option actually was unchecked, but I checked it and changed my maximum change to .001 (it was set at 252) and it is now working.
