I have a spreadsheet where we have incident types now I need to calculate the total number of a particular incident type and how many of those incidents are for each region which is listed in another column. I have tried "CountIF" and VLookup but am just not getting anywhere with it. I have uploaded a sample file which you will see on the second tap is the reporting tool. at the moment I have to calculate everything manually. There has to be a better way.

I have tried to put formula in but it still won't recognise it - as I have multiple sheets that I am extracting the data from. as example one worksheet will be for Term 1 (T1) second sheet is Term 2 (T2) and then I have the reporting sheet which.
