Filter Control

I hope I am putting this ion the correct part of the forum - if not then please excuse me - am new to all this.
I have been asked by my boss to make up a sheet that will look at ticket sale trends throughout the years. I have the raw data which I have put into Excel on a sheet marked 'Raw Data' - However, she wants it to be put on to a Dashboard with a drop down list in order for her to show past trends to clients. I have also made up the Dashboard on a sheet in same workbook as the Raw Data. I have Googled this query for the last 3 days and still haven't found an answer.
On the Raw Data sheet I have made the data in to a Table and it is filtered and if I filter down to a specific entry I get my chart showing up on that sheet - no problems there. But how do I get the Dashboard drop down list to activate the filter on the Raw Data sheet. I tried the method of just having a copy of the chart on the dashboard but she doesn't want that - she wants a nice clean sheet with one drop down list and a chart to show the sales trends. I have tried everything I can think of but obviously am having an Excel blockage and can't figure it out. I have uploaded the actual workbook so you can see what I mean.
Can anyone help??
Nick

Hi ,

What you want can certainly be done , but since it is New Year Eve today , the earliest you may get a response is tomorrow , or possibly the day after.

I was in such a hurry to thank you I forget to ask if you could tell me how you did it - just in case she asks for something similar to be done. I really do admire people who can get something like this to work! Nick

@Nikwak

Happy New Year!!!

Go through Name Manager, I had created 3 named range, thorugh dynamic formula.

1. For drop down list.
2. YAxis for graph.
3. XAxis for graph.

Go through them and if you have any difficulty in understanding them than write back.

Enjoy the day..

Regards,
