David Evans Active Member May 30, 2016 #2 You will be hard pressed to get excel to do anything comparable to what free Family History software can provide you - take a look at these free family history packages - http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-genealogy-family-tree-software.htm Yes it's possible to create relational tables in PowerPivot, but you will spend hours, if not days, working on it when that functionality is built-in to the packages noted.
