Hello!

Could you please help me on my problem. I dont know if the solution will be VBA code or formulae so I am posting my question here.

I think you need to supply more logic as to when a Rig can be used
In your example I think Rig 2 should have been introduced after ID: 24

What determines which Rig is used when both are available?
I assume it is location/distance to the next job, but that data isn't available

To add to what Hui has posted , Rig 2 is available from 1-6-2015 , which means it can be put into use from ID 7 itself ; if it is introduced at this stage , then interleaving Rigs 1 and 2 means you need not have any move time of 5 days between uses , since while Rig 1 is being used for drilling , Rig 2 can be moved to where ever it is required , and vice versa.

The same principle can be extended to Rigs 3 , 4 and 5 as and when they are available to be put into use. At this stage it is governed purely by the distance between drilling locations.
