Excel in presentation mode

Hello, Mr. Chandoo


How could i save a document in excel so that i could send it to someone and it could only be opened in presentation mode? Is it possible?

Excel doesn't have a "Presentation mode" per se

You can however record a short macro which will

Hide the Ribbon, and Tool bars, Hide the Gridlines, Formula Bar and Row/Column Headers and put Excel into Full Screen Mode


This can then be setup to run when that particular file opens.


You should also setup a macro to return Excel to Normal when the file closes
