Excel formula help

Hi Experts

I am looking for a formula which will check 3 values (Column A, Column B and Column C) of sheet 1 with the same columns in sheet 2 and if find the correct match say

Sheet 1

Ram 26 mumbai

Sheet 2

Ram 26 mumbai

then in sheet 2 in column D it should say true if not then false. I am thinking of V-look up is it possible to check 3 condition in it.

You are great. I understood the entire formula excluding the >=1 at the end of the formula. Could you please help me understand the logic here?

Hi ,

The result of the SUMPRODUCT function will be 1 wherever the conditions are met in the same row , since we are multiplying the three tests together.

We can use just the equality sign , but I have used >= just in case there is more than 1 match , in which case the SUMPRODUCT function can return 2 or 3 or whatever is the number of matches.
