Excel File on Public Drive - Opening as Read Only...SOLVED

I created an employee timesheet, which by the way, is awesome soley due to this forum. You guys have helped me create a timesheet that will autocalculate using our special pay rules. It is AWESOME and has worked flawlessly over the last one year.

Now, I am housing it is a different location. I am housing it on a public drive that all employees can access. I password protected each timesheet so that employees can't alter or view others time. However, the employees, who are accessing the timesheet from their work stations, are only able to open it as a read only document.

I am struggling on how to make this open so that I can edit it and the employee can edit it as needed.

Can someone help guide me? Here is a sample timesheet.

I found the problem. The file folder was set up to be read only. Now, it is working. Thanks for letting me post on here.
