Hi,
I am importing pivot table data from a different excel file using data connection.
When I get the data, there are too many things which are not required,
For example, I have several managers listed in the pivot and I only need data for specific manager, is there any option for filtering.
Also when I import data the column headings changes in F series like f1,f2....

Attach a sample file, including the pivot you have created - you should be able to filter out the manager very easily, but let's see what your problem is ...

due to security reason of my organisation, I m not allowed to upload file.
I have a similar issue, let me explain.

I have a file A, which has a formula of getpivotdata().
The data is pulled up from a different pivot table called B.
When I open file 1 the get pivot data shows value error, but at the same time when I open B file, the results are shown in File A.
In short I mean that the result of getpivotdata is only available when file B is open.

Is there any way I can update the value with opening file B
