Excel Dashboard with 3 dimensional parameters

Hi,

I have a need to enter vendor quotes in excel sheet to capture the quotes from each vendor.

I need to capture Vendor price for each product type and other parameters.

1. Product Type
2. Product Parameters
3. Vendor details

Please suggest a better way to arrange the rows and columns so that i can capture different prices and specifications accepted by each vendor.

Hi Shashikanth,

I am here by attaching the updated file for your reference.

I have added a column named Product Name and enabled a drop down with the names of the products.. the list of products available in column P.

The remaining Rows under Product Type are made as column headers under which you can enter the details.

This way it will be easy and helpful for us to consolidate the data product-wise.

Hi Ramesh,

Thanks for the quick response. But in this format, i will end up adding same vendor name multiple times. Every time i select a product, i need to enter vendor name.

Eg:
Flex - Vendor A
Star Flex - Vendor A

I am here by sending across the updated file, where I have added a lookup sheet where we have the list of Products and vendor name

On the data collection sheet for Vendor name, I have added a vlookup under Vendor Name column to fetch the matching Vendor name for the selected product.

I have filled few rows with data which populates this information..
