Hi all
I'm so excited to be here. Chandoo.org is amazing!

My name is Mario and I am from Switzerland.

I’m working on an excel project that involves PDF files and I was wondering if you can help.

In essence here is my problem:

I have:
1. A list of pdf field names starting in excel cell A5
2. A list of pdf field values starting in excel cell B5

I need to:
1. take the field value from cell B5
2. go to the pdf document (whose file path is in cell C2)
3. find the pdf filed name in the pdf document
4. write the field value from cell B5 into its pdf field.
5. repeat this for all the vales in the list

Notice:

For demonstration purposes I have attached the excel file I’m working on as well as 3 pdf test forms.

Important:
as a precondition you need to have adobe acrobat pro installed. The regular adobe reader is not sufficient.

How to use it:

1. Install adobe acrobat pro
2. Save the excel workbook and the 3 pdf test files to a folder
3. Open the excel workbook
4. Hit F5 to select the folder
5. Hit F6 to download the pdf files

I also attached a code called Write_PDF_Forms that might help finding a solution. But it definitely will need some amendment.

I'm not getting anywhere near a solution with this.
any help is very highly appreciated.
thanks for your input.
